Idyllic mountain lakes, like Lake Blaue Lacke, Lake Grünausee, and Lake Mutterberger See, with their crystal-clear waters and the rugged rock faces surrounding them, are true natural gems – and wonderfully refreshing after your ascent.

WildeWasserWeg water trail

The WildeWasserWeg trail is one of the most spectacular walks in Stubai. It’s divided into several stages and takes you past rushing mountain streams and awe-inspiring waterfalls. The highlight of the trail is Grawa waterfall, which, at 85m wide, is the widest waterfall in the Eastern Alps. A well-made hiking path leads to a viewing platform where you can almost feel the power of the thundering water.
