For the love of nature and our homeland

For us at Alphof, safeguarding the well-being of future generations is not just a trend, but a way of life. As a family-run business with deep roots in Tyrol, we’re committed to treating our environment with respect, so that our Stubaital valley remains as liveable in the future as it is today.

Our cuisine: fresh, locally sourced, and created with care

  • From the farm straight onto your plate: wherever possible, the food we serve comes from Tyrol or our own farm.
  • Food waste? No, thanks!: all meals are freshly prepared to minimise food waste. Stale bread is put to good use as feed for our sheep.
  • Circular economy in the garden and in the kitchen: our kitchen waste is collected separately and composted to produce biogas. Garden waste, such as grass clippings and prunings from trees and shrubs, is also reused on our farm.

Energy from the region

Since 2022, our photovoltaic system has been generating a third of our electricity needs.

As a partner of the Stubaital valley energy cooperative, we make surplus energy available to other households, businesses, and local authorities in the region via the energy community. We also consistently use local district heating by Biowärme Fulpmes GmH to heat the hotel. We’re shaping the local energy transition together.

Many small steps in everyday life

  • Wherever possible, we use reusable containers for drinks packaging.
  • In-house cleaning: Thanks to modern dosing systems in the laundry room and kitchen sink, we avoid using too much cleaning product. We also use the Hyla cleaning system to ensure deep and hygienic cleanliness.
  • Furthermore: Our hotel linen is cleaned by a local laundry service, and we return empty toner cartridges to the supplier for refilling.
