Tree house trail for your family holiday in Tyrol

Bardin the Dwarf is already waiting at the Froneben middle station of the Kreuzjochbahn cable car in Schlick 2000 – and with him a world of adventure stretching across some 5,000m² of woodland.
7 treehouses, each with its own theme, invite visitors to climb, slide, and marvel as they move between the forest floor and the treetops. The pushchair-friendly route to the Vergör Alm hut has an elevation gain of just under 100 metres and can easily be completed in 2 hours. What’s more, it’s just a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from your family hotel in Tyrol to the Schlick 2000 lifts.

Water playground at Klaus Äuele Kids’ Park

Gently flowing streams, handmade dams, splashing waterfalls, and a spinning waterwheel: the water playground at Klaus Äuele Kids’ Park invites children to explore, build, and have fun in the water. Brand-new highlights await brave water lovers: the little ones swing across the pond on the Flying Fox, set sail on a raft, and the balancing and climbing course requires skill and a steady hand. On land, visitors can look forward to the Spiral of Theodorus with its climbing walls, the rope jungle for swinging, and the low ropes course made of robinia and oak. The wobbly log, wobbly beam, swinging rope, and double swing challenge your balance and strength. Enjoy a break with a view together on the “Nest of the shore runner” platform and the sunny meadow by the water, surrounded by the Stubai mountains. The whole family will love topping up on energy in the Marend Stüberl directly in the park, where local specialities await them.

Klaus Äuele Kids’ Bike Park for young trail fans

At the Klaus Äuele Natur Aktiv Park, young bikers can ride to their heart’s content on a course built especially for them. 9 trails take riders over steep bends, small jumps, and wooden walkways, getting progressively more challenging as their skills improve: 3 green routes are the perfect introduction for beginners and very young riders, 3 blue routes are ideal for honing cornering technique and building confidence in the saddle, and 3 red routes reward brave young talents with thrilling jumps, challenging features, and plenty of action. On around 480m of trails, kids can have fun clocking up their first trail kilometres and learning the riding techniques they’ll need for the many trail adventures that lie ahead. The park is located right next to the family-friendly Stubai Cycle Route 19 and is open to everyone free of charge.
