The Kreuzjochbahn cable car starts right in the village and takes you up into the Schlick 2000 hiking area: a mountainous paradise offering panoramic views across the entire Stubaital valley, numerous mountain huts, Tyrol’s first slide trail, and the popular Disc Trail. In winter, Schlick 2000 transforms into a ski resort with guaranteed snow, offering 25km of slopes and a family-friendly atmosphere. Whatever the season, it’s well worth a visit.

As well as extensive hiking trails, the 2.8km-long summer toboggan run with 40 bends is a particular highlight.
